Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your Covenant Reader account and everything associated with it at any time. Here’s how, and exactly what gets removed.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and email address
  • Every reader profile in your family — each child’s nickname, avatar, and reading level
  • All reading history, progress, and favorites
  • Any active subscription is cancelled immediately

This is permanent and cannot be undone. (Your payment processor, Stripe, retains its own billing records as required by law; we never store card numbers.)

How to delete everything

Any one of these removes your whole account and all of the above:

  • In the app: open the Grown-ups area (press and hold the Grown-ups button), then choose Delete account & data.
  • On the web: sign in at covenantreader.com/account and use Delete account & data.
  • Can’t sign in? Email hello@covenantreader.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll confirm and remove your data within 30 days (usually much sooner).

Delete just one child’s data

If you’d rather not close your whole account, you can remove a single reader profile — which deletes that child’s nickname, reading history, and favorites while keeping your account and other readers. Do it in the app under Grown-ups → Manage readers → Remove, or on your account page.

Questions about your data? See our Privacy Policy or email hello@covenantreader.com.
